My isp has been monitoring my bandwidth usage because i sometimes go over the limit of 60gb/month. Do they monitor late at night, for example between 12 am to 6 am?

  1. of course!

  2. They monitor every minute. They use servers to do it for them.

  3. They monitor accounts every day, every hour and every second!

  4. They monitor 24/7/365

  5. Yeah. Your ISP monitors your bandwidth usage 24/7. It's done electronically and since its not manual it's not by people and there would be no need to take a break from monitoring. If you are really tired of being charged for a lot of usage you could do one of two things. You can either shop around for a new isp with a higher Bandwidth usage or maybe no cap at all. Or you can do what i did, phone your isp and ask if they have any plans with raised allowed bandwidth usage or no cap at all.
