  1. its not something to get freaked out about...u just have to mist the little guy down with water everyday....and get a humidty thermometer maybe so u can check the humidity each day cuz thats the problem....the humidty is too low

ive had the same problem with mine

  2. if he doesnt have a log or some other kind of object in his tank that he can brush up agaisnt get him one, it will definetely help him shed. do not attempt to pull off that dead skin yourself. with a log or somekind of aid he should be able to remove all the dead skin on his own.

  3. Yes, you need to bath the snake and help aid it to remove any unshed skin very carefully, if the skin is not removed it will eventually restrict circulation as the snake grows. To prevent any more shedding problems the humidity in the enclosure needs to be raised, this can be achieved by placing a dish of water over the warm area of the tank. The snake should be able to shed it's skin in one go. Rocks, branches and other such items can be placed in the enclosure allowing the snake to use these items to help with it's shedding.

  4. fill a bath tub with luke warm water to where your snake can swim freely but isnt drowning. let him soak in there for a while, maybe 20 minutes, then take him out and dab him dry. dont dry him off completely. when you put him back in his cage, make sure he has something rough to rub on.

    good luck!

  5. you should look that video on shedding :

  6. Sometimes it helps to spritz water on him. . . .make sure he has rocks to rub against and a tree limb for climbing on. . .these help him work off the dead skin . . .if you are really worried, take him to the vet. . . .

  7. get a misting bottle from youre local pet store or you can ask ur vet for one. and spray his whole body 1 a week and the skin should come off on its own. after tht when hes gonna shed again spray him 1 everyday until all the skin is off. dont soak him just do a light mist over his whole body..(warning) dont use a spray bottle tht u used for like window cleaner they should have the right bottles at the local pet store.

  8. he needs it a bit more humid his skin should come off in one piece not pieces.
