Question:

Does my baby need a visa to live in Ecuador?

I am a US Citizen. I got married to an Ecuadorian in Ecuador and was mis informed on my visa situation. I overstayed the 90 days they give you in Ecuador and was told I must pay a fine and leave and get my Ecuadorian visa in the states. I left 7 months pregnant. Now they say my husband has to take care of it over there. However, my main question is what do I do for my baby? She will have to have a US passport to go back with me, correct? Am I allowed to go back whenever I want? Does my baby also need to get a visa to live in Ecuador or is it different because her father is ecuadorian? Any advice or information is welcome!

  1. it's not a good idea to ask people on the internet.  Call an airport.
