Does my car insurance company have record of how much money i got from a claim i filed 4 someone hittin my car

My parents and i are on the same insurance policy and i dont want them to have acess to this information. I dont know if the amount of money i recieved will be included in our next bill or something like that.

  1. Settlement amounts are not on your bill.   However, your parents may ask your insurance agent or claims adjustor how much you recieved and they may tell them.

    why would a settlement payment show up on the bill? think about it for a minute.... don't stress.

  4. Your agent or company has access to this information, but your parents would never know unless they called and asked.  if they call the agent or company and ask and they are named insureds on the policy (which i assume they are) they CAN find out no problem
