Does my cat have cat acne or something else?

Could be but to be on the safe side take the cat to the vet. It may be a boil that has become infected. It may need to be lanced and the cat given antibiotics.

It's common for them to get pimple-like-bumps under their chins.  I don't know why but I've had cats for over 20 years and it's just something that happens.

As for the "genius" who said it's due to AIDS...  grow up!

Have your vet check her for allergies.  It could be she is allergic to either certain foods or her food bowl.  A lot of cats are allergic to plastic bowls so stainless steel bowls kept clean help with this problem.  If this does not work it may be a food allergy.  Your vet can tell you.

You should take your cat to a vet, they will be able to diagnose the problem and prescribe a medicine for your cat to take.
