Does my cat know she is prego?

MY CAT IS ALMOST A MONTH AND A HALF PREGNANT AND I WAS WONDERING... DOES SHE KNOW SHE IS PREGNANT?? PLEASE AND THANK YOUS FOR UR ANSWERS!! :]]

If there's anything i know about animals is that there more aware of whats going on with them than any human knows whats going on with their human self.  I bet the cat knows the day or so after..animals have good instincts

  That means that in about 3 weeks she will give birth. The gestation period for cats is 63 days. About a week or so before she gives birth you will see her nipples and the area around them swelling, if she is lying down if you rub her tummy lightly you can feel the kittens moving inside her.

  And yes she is certainly aware she is going to have kittens.

Assuming this is her first litter, and she hasn't been around any other litters of newborns (besides the one she arrived in), she very likely may not know what is going on.  I doubt that anyone ever told her what would happen when some boy cat mounted her...she just had a serious compulsion to let it happen.  A lot of the behaviors that she'll exhibit don't necessarily reflect knowledge as we understand it, but are simply responses to certain hormones that have been honed by many millions of generations of evolution.  Assuming that she knows and understands in a rational way as we do is a form of anthropomorphizing, as we tend to imbue an animals brain with human characteristics.
