Question:

Does my chiropractic group practice scientology? What should I look for?

I went to a chiropractor today, and I get this vibe that there is scientology in practice there. I'm a little leery of groups that practice scientology. Is there a way to find out if that is what they are up to? They're just really peculiar in the way they do things, and it seems all to familiar to a former dental group I know that practiced scientology. What are some signs or tip offs to look for?

  1. Scientology isn't brainwashing.  It is not any different from someone being Christian or Catholic or Jewish.

Scientology actually has some great alternative healing methods and beliefs.  The bad part is that they usually charge lots of money to join.

Chiropractors can be overzealous in their marketing techniques and act like preachers about their work.

Trust how you feel after a session with them.  Do you feel better physically, mentally and emotionally?

  2. Well, all I know is they always ask people "what are your crimes?".....so, if you hear that....lol. Look them up on youtube. You'll see an example of their behavior there.

  3. Unless they are asking you to take a Scientology course, join the Church of Sceintology, or buy a book, I would not worry about it.

Also look out for free personality/stress tests. But in general don't worry about a few sceintological beliefs being incorporated into the practice. It is fairly harmless pseudosceince.

Anonymous has declared war on the Church of Scientology – ask them why

  4. Why don't you just ask them?
