Does my college tuition earn me the right to decide about a new dress code?

  1. I think to a certain extent. You can make suggestions but ultimately your making the conscious decision to learn and listen to the people who instruct you. By making that decision you also agree to what they think is best and by dressing a certain way, they are attempting to get to ready for the real world and take on a professional demeanor.

No.  Thats the role of the student President and the board of directors.  You can bring up the idea of a new dress code, but it then has to go through the college student President, then the College Board of Directors before you see anything.  And good luck trying to go through both of them with no problems.  

  4. No, your tuition gives you the right to go to college.  It does not give you any right to decide anything about any college policy such as dress code.  You have decided to go to that college and as such you have decided to follow the regulations that they set forward.
