Does my dvd player read mpeg4????

ok, so all of the videos i want to burn are in MPEG-4 MOVIE format. Is this different from a regular MPEG4 format??? and also i want to burn all of these videos onto a DVD so that i can play it on my dvd player, do dvd players read MPEG-4??? because i don't want to convert the videos.:) thanks

There's no such thing as "regular" MPEG-4 - it's a standard that allows a lot of flexibility.  DivX and XviD are two examples of MPEG-4.  Most DVD players can't handle MPEG-4, but some can, and the prices are coming down.

DVD uses Mpeg 2 and most brands will not play Mpeg4
