Does my goldfish have a paracite?

it has a small white dot on its back fin. about the size of the point on a pen

If it looks like a grain of salt it could be the start of ich and you'll need to get medication and start treating it.  If it's just kind of an opaque spot that isn't as see through as the rest of the fin then it may be just a healing injury.
