Does my guinea pig have diarrhea?

I just found out yesterday that one of my guinea pigs has brown stuff all over her fur around her butt and hind legs. And we where about to call the vet today but I just cleaned there cage yesterday and today I see all the p**p shaped normally, some are still a little wet though. And she doesn't smell anything strong. Also she is still acting normal, eating, drinking, popcorning. So is this still diarrhea even though there no soft p**p or smell? If not what could the brown stuff on her butt be?

She probably had diarrhea. Have you given her a bath to get all the p**p off? Can you think of something you fed her that may have caused it? It's a really good sign that it seemed to have gone away. I would call and talk to your vet just in case. Sounds like it came and went and your guinea is likely fine.

It sounds like she may have had some diarrhea. Diarrhea can be a sign of a serious illness, so although she seems alright today I'd take her into a vet just in case. Definitely better to be safe than sorry. Their digestive systems are very fragile.
