Does my hair look better slicked back or combed foward?

Question

I was growing my hair out but didn't know what style I wanted so I just went to a salon and she just trimmed the bottom parts. I still don't know what style to go for or if I should grow it out to my shoulders? First pic is before I got my haircut it's wet and slicked back.

combed forward, it looks way better than slicked back.

both of them look really good on you. ...no dont grow it out..the short hair suits you perfectly...i would keep mixing it up between the two.
