Question:

Does my hamster have wet-tail?

My hamster, Oreo, looks like her rear end is wet. She's eating and drinking regularly. Everything is normal, except the wet rear end. It doesn't sound like wet-tail to me, but what do you think.

  1. Your hamster probably doesn't have wet tail. Wet Tail is when the rear is red and the hamster would have diarrhea. Your hamster will be ok.

  2. No, it's probably not wet-tail, but just in case you can use dri-tail. It wouldn't hurt her, even if she doesn't have it.

  3. Thankfully, it's not wet tail.

My hamster, Max, had wet tail and ended up dying.

The first sign for him was kind of wobbling around and looking like he was really dizzy.

Then he started having odd temperatures - he'd get really really hot and then he got really really cold.

    He didn't eat or drink.

I think maybe Oreo like peed on herself haha.

    She's fine, I think.
