Does my home insurance cover my big screen t.v.?

what happened to the tv makes a difference if insurance covers it...

stolen - file a police report, answer should be yes..

broken - answer should be yes...

quit working - answer is probably no, BUT.. is it under warranty?

Also.... Do you have a deductible? Mine is $ 1000.. doesn't make filing a claim for a tv worthwhile... premiums go up.. cost of tv is near $ 1000 ...

It will depend on your policy. Most will but you may have to "schedule" it with some. If it was a fair amount of money it would probably be worth the phone call to find out.
