I wondering why my infant (4 months old) has a constant runny nose, we brought him to the Doctor, and he giving us a prescription but that hasn't been working. he doesn't these symptoms during the day, but it starts when we get home, we've cleaned every thing over and over again nothing works. he spends most of the day with my mother and she has a large poodle, could that be the problem.

  1. Poodles are considered to be "hypo-allergenic"

It could be there is something else at your mothers, or the dogs.  4 months isn't too young to do a blood allergy test, though they aren't all that accurate.

  2. If he has an allergy to the poodle his symptoms would be present well at grandma's house. If it is only happening at your house it is something in your environment - what kind of work do you and your husband do? Have you had your house checked for mold? You might have some and not see it.
