Does my insurance go up?

I am 19 years old, I just got a speeding ticket, does my insurance go up? I was going 85 in a 55 zone.

  1. I believe if you lose points, it might affect you premium.

    but honestly, don't be shy, just call your company and mention that you would like to keep your identity anonymous for this call and ask them the question.

  2. Um.  I'll be surprised if you don't lose your license.  At your age, with such a high speeding violation, you'd better be thanking your lucky stars if you're still allowed to drive after all this.

    And yes.  Your insurance is going to go up.  It may not happen at the next renewal, but it'll happen.  Sometimes it takes a year for these things to catch up with you, but it will.

    Slow down.  You'll be making the world a safer place not just for yourself, but for other people on the roads with you.

  5. Yes it will go up, i use to work at a insurance agency and some customers didn't like it, but it really goes up even if u take the driving class courses. And i know that right know with ur age it is way to expensive, so prepar to pay more money.
