Does my kitty have unique markings? (pics) weight question too?

My kitten is 7 weeks old. I was wondering if he had some pretty markings for a tabby or if he is just like other tabbys and not that

fancy. Also, he weighs 1.9lbs...is that normal size for 7 weeks or is he actually slightly big for his age?

As for the markings, they look similar to that of other cats. But you'll find slight differences in them. I have two cats that look EXACTLY alike, but one has long hair and the other is short hair. And they aren't even from the same cities.

I don't know about the weight-age thing. Sorry. But again, you have a cute kitty there.

He looks kind of marbled, instead of plain striped. He's a cute little guy- give him a kiss for me.

he looks very much like my kittens from behid, but he has a cute little face. He looks nice and healthy and all cats are different considering what size their mothers are.

I'd say he's small for his age.. I have 4, 7 week old kittens and one is almost 3lbs now the females are all 2-2.5 lbs. Males are always bigger so your kitty should be putting on some weight.. he looks a little rough. Was he a stray or a rescue? I'd feed him some wet food and a high quality dry kitten food, make sure to weigh him and be sure he is gaining. Kittens should stay with their mother until they are 8 weeks old unless you have no choice. Your kitty may just need some better food..

His pattern is fairly common and is known as a "Mackerel Tabby" pattern.

Hi ALL kitties are unique...and your little guy is sweet..he has "typical" tabby markings, but I think the color of his coat makes him look more special. My new kitty is 10 weeks and only weighs 1.9 lbs. The vet said he looks very healthy.

How beautiful and special a cat/ pet looks is all in the eye of the beholder!

He's a pretty kitty, but I think those are perfectly usual tabby markings!

1.9lb seems about normal for a 7 week old.

All cats have pretty markings. Your tabby is just the same as any other beautiful kitten. It's normal for kittens to be a bit chubby, just like how babies have baby fat and your kitty's will go away before he is 1 year old.
