  1. you can bring a carry on suitcase and your laptop.

  2. nope it doesn't since you can't put a laptop in checked luggage, it doesn't count as a carry-on

  3. Many airlines allow a personal item plus a carry on, where a laptop can be considered a personal item.  But that then means don't bring on a second personal item like a big purse.

  4. You are allowed to bring 1 item plus one personal item.  The personal item can be a laptop in it's case, a purse or backpack.  Some airlines, however, only allow 1 item.  It is best to check with the airlines website to be sure.

  5. I am a Plane Expert/Professional. I have made note of all plane procedures during airline experiences. Most Airlines allow you to have on board a carry on and a personal item of your choice. To keep things simple at security, it's best to have a backpack labtop case that way you can store your labtop in your backpack and you won't have to worry whether or not they will let you bring the labtop on board.

Please keep in mind that carry on fees has now increased. In order to check in a bag or have a carry on it costs $15. This is per bag. I understand completely your concern for labtop handling because if your near a window where the airport employees throw harshly suitcases onto the conveier belt, any items that are in the suitcase will most definetly get broken.

Check with your airline site on that information to understand what is allowed and what is not allowed.

    Enjoy your flight :]

  6. No, you can take one small piece of luggage and your laptop, which is not counted as such.
