I’m writing you a letter to ask you to please allow me to attend the national pageant for Sunshine Productions. Yes a letter may seem dumb, but I’m too chicken to ask you in person.

Now at my last pageant (Miss Liberty) you asked me if I wanted “to be like those girls that do them all the time and look like Barbie’s”, well YES I do. I do think it is very fun to get all dressed up and do my hair in a special way and do my makeup all special. Ever since I have started pageants I have seen a serious attitude, self esteem, and emotional boost. And that I am much, much, MUCH more happier than ever before.

I really think I have found my something I really love to do, MORE THAN DANCE! And I have gone off and put my heart and should into to practicing my modeling, facial expressions, practicing my make up and hair, even my dancing and singing. =D

  1. Well if you think your  really beautiful and have a good chance to win well then it sound's great, if you ask your mom in a letter you might not get the answer right away so ask her up front if she really has faith in you she'll say yes.

  2. Sounds like a sweet letter...except leave out the part about liking pageants more than dancing...if she thinks you will continue to dance she may be more interested in letting you participate.

  3. Did something happen during the last pageant? Why wouldn't she automatically enter you into this pageant? Yes the letter is cool but don't put dance behind the pageant you'd probably have a better chance of succeeding in life through dance yes the pageants builds your confidence but more people will see you dance. Are you on any dance teams? Dance will open more doors and there is only 1 winner in the pageants. Good Luck just the same
