Does my local zoo not want to hire class D felons, with weapons violations?

And why don't they have the guts to call and kindly tell me I can't volunteer for them?

They hire people for community service, and I have past experience.

  1. Somehow a weapons history, along with a few more I can think of, should disqualify you from working at a zoo - where children frequent.

    Do you see this also??

  2. there's a slight problem with your felony. They don't call because really, no one hires felons. Felony brands you as unworthy and unreliable. Not a good hire for animals, who need dependability.

They also have kids coming in, every day. Your felony makes you unqualified to pick up turds at the zoo. You're the last person they want for community service.

    What did you do?
