I have an ebay account and a paypal account, but paypal is asking me to verify with my bank account number. Can I still use paypal on ebay if I don't verify?

  1. You can place a bid on any auction on eBay as long as you meet the seller's requirements and have a registered eBay account.  In order to send money using the PayPal system you do need to have a confirmed email address and a confirmed funding source.

Most times, having a confirmed funding source means you have a Verified account.  In order to become verified on PayPal please add and confirm a bank account.

You can add a bank account by logging into your PayPal account, selecting the Profile sub-tab and clicking on Bank Account in the middle coloumn.  Then once you have added and confirmed your bank account you will have an unlimited sending limit.

  2. Yes.....

  3. It needs to be verified, unless you hve purchased stuff from ebay and have a positive rating.

  4. Being verified raises your sending limit.  If you have reached that limit and will not verify, then you will not be able to use PayPal with eBay or anywhere else.  You can verify by providing your bank information or by applying and getting approved for a PayPal credit product.

  5. If a seller will take another payment form like....Personal checks, Money orders, Cashiers checks. Then you would not need to verify at pay pal. However you do need to verify your address with eBay.
