Does my pc have malware virus?

my pc for the past 4 days has been messing up. all the files are gone, all the pictures are gone. pop ups keep comming up even when pop up blocker is on. no music on youtube or rhapsody plays. plus its super super slow. couild my pc have a virus. if so what can i do to get rid of it
