  1. It depends what sort of passport he has and what he's going there for.  If he has a British passport then he won't need a visa at all, whether he is travelling or working or anything else.

If he has an American passport he won't need a visa if he is just visiting the country.  However, if he is planning on staying here for a protracted amount of time and doing things like studying or working he will require a visa.  If this is the case, it will be probably be easier for you to just get him a British passport as some visas, especially the ones to work here, are actually quite hard for American citizens to obtain.

  2. no

  3. Check with the British Embassy nearest to you & see if you can get him a British passport, it would be handier especially if you plan to make frequent trips to the UK or to visit Europe

  4. if he has us passport, then he wouldn't need a visa to go to england.  our family just went there 2 months ago. we're americans and we weren't required to get a visa. i hope this helps!
