we were fine listening to tapes..they're retro! but the tape deck no longer works on our car. Will an adapter still work so we can at least use an mp3 player? Or does the tape deck have to actually turn for it to work?

  1. well yes it does have to turn on for the adapter to play MP3's.

  2. the tape player needs to work to turn the adapter

  3. Don't know!  Plug one in and see!  I would think that an adapter which has no moving parts though, would be ok provided the heads are still working.

  4. If its just the motor that spins the tapes that is broken then you are fine.

as long as the head in the cassette player works you will be fine.
