Does my team have to be good or better than another persons in order to talk smack or just talk in general

Question

I don't think that ones team has to be at the top of the list in order for him/her to have an opinion about another team. That is as long as it's an educated opinion. I believe that you should at least like what sport your talking about and at least know what your talking about.

For example, Its like, ok, my team is crappy. However, does that enable me to see that another teams QB is terrible? Or that another team is overrated? I don't control how my team plays. But, I know football, and I should be able to give an educated opinion about other teams. What do you think? Does your team have to be good in order to talk?

Talking trash is what makes watching games fun.  But you have to pick your battles.

Heck, you can be, say, a fan of a 1-15 team, and still talk smack.

It depends what your saying if your doing it saying that their no good but their better than you guys then no you don't have a right because that might just be jealousy talking but if you might or are better than another player or if other people agree with you that a certain player is no good then yes you do, you have right to say whatever you want just don't over do it.

As a good fan you can say what ever you want about someone elses team as much as you want...BT be prepared to hear more from the other person especially if your team isn't good.... but remeber a real fan goes threw the ups and downs

it doesn't matter! i smack talk the referees not in a bad way just something like: "Come on ref he's holding!" or "What kind of a call was that!" or "Watch the holding!!!!!" i scream at the refs alot and they don't give me flags as long as u don't cuss!

Do ur self a favor if ur going to talk to the other team say good job, good game, nice tackle, or (if they smack talk u) Shut up (then walk away) and if he says yeah u better walk away! the next play hit him as hard as u possibly can, injure him all u want just not after the ref blows the wistle
