Does my the colors selected go with my party theme?

AS MANY HAVE SEEN I AM PLANNING MY SWEET 16 PARTY. MY THEME IS (UPGRADE YOU) WHICH CAME FROM THE B'DAY CD BY BEYONCE. MY CHOICE OF COLORS ARE (WHITE& GOLD) W/ PURPLE (HAVE U ROCKIN PURPLE LABELS) OH YEAH BY THE WAY I NEED IDEAS ON MY CAKE, INVITATIONS, AND A PARTY MENU. IF U HAVE ANY IDEAS I WILL TAKE THEM IN CONCERATION!

that's a really unique theme!

i wouldn't have guessed that..

[mine sweet sixteen theme is gonna be candyland..]

it's not really broad.. but i'll try to help.

the video is like ultra glam and reminds me of old hollywood glamor..

so maybe a huge white or purple icing cake

with like gold or white[if you do purple] accents.

invitations..

i would do like pretty gold & white or purple invitations and put a pearl or diamond [faux.. to save HELLAVA LOT of money lol] or like those mardi gras beads in like white, gold, and purple. and make sure they have those necklaces at your party, so that they can get in..

rawr. idk.. that's why i'm not really feeding people at my party. lol
