I have been getting worse in the 3 months I have been seeing him, he calls me things like a hypodondriact and saying I have paranoid schizophrenia, I had a major injury a few weeks ago that may and will probably effect my life and he basically just says I am a hypocondriac, it pisses me off

I really dont like him but felt I needed a therapist, I dont have alot of money so this is the only place I could find that would charge really cheap, without him I have no other options for a therapist

  1. I think its not worth any of your money if you're not getting any  help.  Paranoid schizophrenia is a serious diagnosis and it seems he may have tossed it out like nothing.  But if you must see him, then it is your right to tell him you are not happy with how the sessions are going.  The last thing he wants is to loose a patient.  I'm sure he will work harder to be more helpful for you.

  2. Have you told him that he pisses you off?

Do you feel better seeing him or worse?

Maybe it's better you don't see him if he's labeling you like that.
