Does my tv have a built in digital ?

I have a Sharp tube tv ( one of thosed big, old school tv's) and it has an sdtv logo on the botom of the tv

How old is your tv? Generally speaking, SDTVs more than a year or two old don't have digital tuners.

Can you view your local stations's digital broadcasts? For example, I live in Detroit, and our NBC affiliate has a 24 hour digital weather channel. If so, then your tv has a digital tuner. If not, then it does not.

The best thing to do is to look in the owner's manual or Google the model number.  What you are looking for is if the set has an "ATSC Tuner".  That's the only way to know for sure.

Enter your address (zip code is enough) at the website below for digital channels currently broadcasting in your area. If you can receive them with an antenna, then you have a digital tuner.
