  1. Yes.

If you are over weight you will have a more difficult time performing the movements. It will also affect whether or not your are selected for partnering. Make sure that you maintain a healthy weight and you will be just fine. Don't run out and develop an eating disorder. If you are too thin it will have negative impact on your performance quality as well.

  2. yes.

its not so much that you can't do something if you're overweight, but the more you weigh, the harder you're body has to work to do a the steps. a person who weighs 115 will have a much easier time getting a beautiful leap than someone who weighs 140. thats just gravity hun.

  3. yes but not entirely. of course, it's a lot harder, and it might slow you down. however this doesn't 100% affect your gracefulness or (possibly) flexibility. The only thing it might affect is jumping and other things related. don't ever think that overweight people cannot dance though.  =-)

  4. YES. If you gained a few pounds over vacation, not really. But if you are overweight, you will have a hard time and look out of place. If you are too thin, you may have joint/muscle problems if you dont eat enough. its all about being healthy.
