Does my your playstation 2 allow DVDS?

Cause I know their supposed too, but ours won't for some reason I don't know of. Help?

here is how you fix it. Take the connections that you are supposed to hook up to your tv, and unplug them from your vcr, and put them into the tv where they belong. If you have a tv/vcr combo tv, then your basically screwed. This is the macrovision protection hard at work.
