Does nail polish expire?

Question

because i recently just found a bottle hidden in a shoe box in a dark place from over a year (2 years?) ago and it was laying on its side.

half of it was like oil, the other half this light light light pink color with a dot thing in it, at first i thought it was mold but maybe its the silver shaky thing

what do you think?

I dont know if it expires but I know it gets clumpy and gross

It will eventually seperate and become glunky.  Chuck it and treat yourself to a new bottle. x
