alright any other time on the last lap u finish under green unless cars r blocking the track and if u have a caution positions are always found by the scoring loop but now since evedently they want kyle to win they throw the caution when he gets out front even though carl was leading when they started wrecking and instead of going to the scoring loops they reveiw the video????

  1. I guess you saw the race tonight, huh? Believe it or not that is the rule. But, I'm sure that rule will be altered next season. Also, rules only apply to certain drivers. The big names stars hardly get punished but NASCAR rules. In fact, the benefit the most from it.

  2. It will be alright now, just keep watching and gritting your teeth.  It has been going on since you were crapping your huggies and sucking your bottle.  Oh wait, way before all that...

  3. they dont just make up the rules as they go..

jeff gordon he well spun out or whatev but he got off the track and out of the way..but then in the middle of everyone there was a semi big crash involving about 6 people and they said that if there is a crash on the track and they are still there they will just review the video to give us the final results so they didnt just make that up as they go along..i didnt want kyle bush to win either im sick of that guy..im really a major dale jr. fan! he was like the top car up there tonight then he got back to about 11th i think it where he ended up but he had a pretty good night up until that.

  4. Pretty much. Give them a magic slate or an etch-a-sketch and you will have a copy of the NASCAR rule book...Subject to change without notice.

  5. were none of you listening to the race while it was on?

jeff spun into the infield, but wasn't in any imminent danger as long as he got going again, which he did. then when the big wreck happened (after the many mini-wrecks), right at the start finish line after the white had come out, caution was called. when the yellow flew, kyle was in the lead. carl may have been slightly ahead before that, but that doesn't matter - not when the last caution determines finishing positions.

as to why they didn't go back to the last scoring loop, kyle and one other announcer thought the same thing, until larry mcreynolds reminded them that the scoring loops are used to figure out placement for all cautions except one that determines the end of the race - that is decided by video. period.

carl himself had a good idea at the time that he lost, and later saw the video and agreed without complaining. why can't you do the same?!!?

"Well, it was close, I knew that," Busch said. "When I did see the yellow light come on, I could barely see the nose of the 99 car at my right-front fender. I was hoping that we were the winners and it ended up that way."

Edwards thought it was close but didn't believe he had the advantage when the caution came out.

"I wasn't sure until we were going down the back straightaway," Edwards said. "[Spotter] Jason Hedlesky told me. He said, 'the 18 to Victory Lane.' I was pretty sure, though, [based on] where we were running when the yellow light came on. Right as I was going by it, I was getting a run on his door so I was probably second."

great race, kyle won it, case closed, on to chicagoland...

  6. Sometimes I wonder if they just make them up as they go!! It pisses me off when sometimes they throw out a caution and sometimes they dont, when the exact same thing happens!!

For example...when Hornish spun out and Junior won on the caution, then the next week at the road course, Bobby Labonte spun out and no caution...and i dont wanna hear from all you junior fans about how there was nobody around Labonte when he spun, so they didnt throw the caution, cuz there was nobody around Hornish either!! Nascar needed Junior to win that race and that was how they could do it, cuz he wouldnt have won without that caution!!

    Go Kasey Go!!
