Does neone know a link on how to find out if our house we r renting is in forclosure?

why dont you ask your landlord, come on now do you think he is going to tell me the truth after i had a forclosure sigh put on my door allready. our lease ran out in june we are renting on a month to month basis. 3 times we have had a lette door hanger stating call your morgage company now. we don't own the house so they wont tell us nuthing. our fear is that he is riding out the six month forcloser n the bank is going to take it w/ ALL OF MINE AND MY FAMILYS BELONGINGS. so please be respectful... i wouldn't laugh at you. thanx again

  1. Why don't you ask your landlord?  If it's in foreclosure, then you're paying rent and they're not paying their mortgage.  Which brings me to my soapbox... TOTALLY not directed at you, of course...

    How could someone rent out their house to someone, collect rent and STILL fail to pay their mortgage.  That is so completely irresponsible.  

    Anyway... good luck to you, if it's in foreclosure you should move ASAP before the bank has you evicted.

  3. You can check at your county's land office, since all foreclosures will be registered there on the property title.  Your county may or may not have this information online.

    If you have a binding lease for this property, you are obligated to honor the lease with the landlord, regardless of any foreclosure proceedings.
