Does not charge. i bought this a few weeks ago and i charged it the day i got it and it lasted me

i bought this a few weeks ago and i charged it the day i got it and it lasted me for a few days which was great, but then when i tried recharging it, it doesnt recharge. when i plug in the charger to the outlet, only the red light shows, not the green. what should i do?
