Does one dead pixel make that much difference in a 37 inch screen?

The TV is being sold at a reduced price. I guess because of the dead pixel. I think it is in one of the corners. Is this a good deal or should I just buy a new one?

  1. depends where it is, but it would annoy the h**l out of me!

  2. Does paying a $1,000.00 for an HDTV and then finding out that you have a dead pixel create a problem? Like the previous poster said: "It would annoy the c**p out of me!"

Also note that as your LCD TV ages, you can expect to have  more pixels stick or die! Just get use to it, you bought an LCD TV!

Additional Details: A dead pixel in the corner is not as noticable as in the center of the screen. Like I said, you are going to get dead pixels over the life of the TV. If you are OK with this, then this TV may make a good bargin.

  3. NO, ONE dead pixel on a 37" screen is no big deal and not terribly unusual, and I doubt very much whether it even could even generate a warranty claim.
