Does one use a soup spoon or shoud you suck the sauce out of your duck?

i expect to honored at a professional banquent near christmas. they usually serve peking duck and chamapgne. that expensive kind i cannot stop drinking. and i must toast to all kinds of flattery and each other. ought to be loverly.

A tricky question, I can relate to your habit of drinking expensive Champagne  ( I prefer a 1976 Krug myself) and yet I can also relate to sucking the sauce from your Peking Duck. ( one assumes that the duck is dead?) Hmmmm, suck or spooning, each has its merits you know. it depends on the company you keep, as to what is socially acceptable under the circumstances. May I point out to you than the spoon can be a tricky piece of equipment whilst under the influence, so with that in mind, go for the suck, you know it makes sense.
