i've never seen a 4 wheeler, just the 3 wheeled ones you steer with a bar in the middle, but i don't frequent alot of golf courses either.  my grandpa had a hd cart

Yes, they did.

They were made from 1963 through 1982, when they sold their golf cart division to Columbia Par Car

Darn things ate batteries. Might have been because they were in such poor condition before I started working at the course.
