  1. Phone Orange to tell them you want to make phone calls from Ireland. They will switch on the facility at their end. You need to set your handset on 'roaming' to find the nearest network that can pick up an 'Orange signal'.

You do not need to buy another SIM card as there is no technical reason to do so if you are configured to make international calls. Although, depending on how long you are in Ireland for, it may be financially viable to buy an Irish SIM card.

  2. "orange" will work in northern ireland but when you travel over the border "vodafon ireland " takes over

  3. no thry jk

  4. no, orange is a british company,IRELAND NOT BRITAIN,a big ***** difference

  5. Your Orange phone will use a surrogate network while you are over there, but the calls will be more expensive.

  6. only on marches

  7. I used to be on Orange and went to see a mate who stayed in Dublin (this was about 4 years ago) and it wouldn't work there. It changed to a local network and was extremely expensive! You may have to get another sim card to use over there. I think my mate who moved there also used to be on orange and she did that.

  8. you'll never get an orange reception o the Garvaghy Road

but there again its in the UK
