  1. yes, it does not deteriorate, it is the fundamental constituent of a human.

  2. DNA can breakdown over time but if was collected promply and stored in a cool, dry dark place it is preserved.

In fact many "cold cases" were solved when evidence that was up to 20 years old was re-examined for DNA.  (See link)

All DNA testing requires that the sample be purified first and then replicated many times.  It is then visualised by chopping it up and sending the pieces through a kind of jelly which allowes a banding pattern like a barcode to be seen. The age sof the DNA is irrelevent.  The most important thing is that the sample is NOT COMTAMINATED - that is not mixed with another persons DNA.

  3. no

  4. where did u keep it in the meantime?that matters

on the other hand in our cells our telomers get shorter as time passes, and this means that DNA ages.

  5. No DNA is a constant unless it is damaged,

DNA can be damaged by many different sorts of mutagens, which change the DNA sequence. Mutagens include oxidizing agents, alkylating agents and also high-energy electromagnetic radiation such as ultraviolet light and X-rays. The type of DNA damage produced depends on the type of mutagen.
