What do you guys think, here's a good article that has a theory why people are becoming more and more apathetic about our olympic success: http://visionquest101.typepad.com/visionquest_101/sports/index.html

  1. I have not missed a moment.  I love sports and love the Olympics and seeing the accomplishments of the young people (and not so young) of the world.  Apathy is the providence of the younger people of the United States and is not tied to patriotism.

Note...I am not saying that younger Americans have no reason to be apathetic, just pointing out it has nothing to do with the Olympics or patriotism, but other considerations.

  2. I'm not just patriotic, I'm downright nationalistic and I still don't really care about the Olympics.

  3. All this fuss over the Olympics is ridiculous..I need a stop sign on my street and nobody cares. How many kids will be killed before people care?
