Does our propane wall heaters with electric blower fans use a lot of electricity[ we have 2]?

we just switched from a fuse box to a breaker box we have 2 [ 1970's ] model propane wall heaters with electric blower fans should each of these heaters blower fans be on a breaker of their own-how much electricity does each of them use?

  1. Not a lot, perhaps 100 watts at a guess. They both can be on the same breaker, no problem.

  2. The electricity used is worth the difference it makes to the heat benefit of the wall furnace. Just relying on the radiant effect of a wall furnace doesn't do much. You really need that fan to move the air to make it anything close to efficient.

    The rating plate on the appliance should tell you the actual load of the fan...

  3. It depends on the size of motor. Read the specification on the motor. Usually  it is under 5 amperes. If not,you may use an AC clamp meter to measure the current when motor is in full load.
