  1. I imagine it could somewhat. But also demand and productions I would guess have factors in it as well.

  2. i doubt it.

  3. No.

    Don't think so.

The cost of doing business in growing food is rising.

    Like fuel for transportation?

Rising cost on production of fertilizer?

    Weedicide and pesticides?

    Labour?

    Climate changes?

    Etc.,

All these cost caused it .

    What do you think?

  4. of course not.

  5. No... because the more you demand... the lower the prices.

  6. No, but over stocking and over "Munafakhori".

  7. absolutely

  8. Not unless everyone was overeating, and the demand outstripped the supply.

The cost driver for nearly all products is petroleum, and because petrol producers donate so much money to politicians, none of them are willing to do anything to put a cap on the price of petroleum.

The Fed responds by raising interest rates to control inflation.

This move causes families who are already paying more for food and clothing to have to pay more for their home mortgage interest.

Ultimately, it causes people to lose their homes.

  9. No.  The raise in gas prices, a shortage of many staple foods, and a higher demand for some more commonly western goods like milk is raising the food prices.

  10. Not really. But it might if you think about supply and demand. the more people eat of a product the less there is of that product. So I guess it could.

  11. I am sure that over eating adds to the raise in food prices, but I also believe as we continue to over populate this earth there is a higher demand on our agriculture which requires more time, energy, labor, land and money to produce the necessary amount of food for us. Also, I'm sure the good old "just because they can" gets thrown in there too.
