This is the oldest of old wives' tales.  Masturbating has no bad effects on your body whatever.  And no it doesn't make hair grow on the palms of your hands.  (Or deplete your "precious bodily fluids," Gen. Ripper).  It's no different than intercourse, just safer and more convenient.

There is no scientific answer because it is scientifically impossible. All the side effects that are supposedly cased by masturbating are just myths people use to scare their children away from it. It will not make you blind, grow hair on your palms, sterile, not be able to have an erection or any other things. Its a perfectly normal thing to do and it will not harm you in any way. enjoy :)
