Does p2p make linksys routers go down?

if so does it make all routers go down or JUST linksys?

  1. Depending on your internet connection, you can see connectivity issues using peer 2 peer applications.

    Sometimes cable companies like Time Warner and Charter, will send TCP kill packets, that will temporarily stop a connection.  Not to noticable when surfing, but it will stop downloads in progress.

    Sometimes the excessive connections that are directed to your modem and router by all the peers looking at your shared files, or all the peers trying to download from you, can cause issues with all routers.

    Sometimes, individuals will attempt to disrupt your connection by sending floods at your IP, just because they can, and because your IP address is available across the p2p network.


  2. yes,  it will slow down the whole network in your work area.

    i have use P2P once in the company, the whole company just crashed.
