i just want to take one today will it work or do i jhave to take one everyday?

  1. I doubt it. Most antidepressants (especially SSRIs) tend to take time to get into your system to work. SSRI drugs in particular basically block some Serotonin in your brain, but it would take your brain time to use up what's already there and balance out what's left. In other words, there is going to be next to no impact with only 1 day on the drug. Sorry.


  2. No, you must take it long-term.

    If you want a temporary solution, then speak with your doctor about Valium or Xanax.
