Does patch perfect really work?

I just reviewed your link.  Given the pitch and the lack of information as to the type of seed/combination of seeds it is, I would be just a little skeptical.  Less information means more hype, IMHO.

Patching is best done by scraping the area with a gardening fork, mixing the seed into the top 1/4" of soil and keeping moist for 2 weeks.   Yeah, it is a lot more work than this product promises but it is effective.

A friend gave me a wildflower mix like this as a present with the same line, apply the green "mix" directly in an area and watch the flowers grow.  Nada, for me.
