  1. It all depends on your definition of perfection.  If you have a realistic mental definition,  then,  yes,  you can find perfection in the world.  If this mental definition is not properly obtained,  of course you cannot find perfection.

For instance,  men have a mental idea of a how a perfectly beautiful woman would look like.  Some would have an unrealistic expectation,  a mental picture that nature never intended.  Others,  perhaps wiser,  know what to expect and what not to,  and their mental definition reflects this knowledge.  Such men may realistically find a perfectly beautiful woman.

  2. Yes it's name is Jesus.

  3. perfection only persists if the person believe's that the person, place or thing has been profected in there mind. besides that only God is perfect

  4. I would like to think so, but no!!

  5. Perfection is subjective, and due to that, it is not possible to achieve objective perfection.

  6. Perfection is beyond our understanding; because we have physical limitations we are incapable of giving perfection a proper definition.

Light covers a broad variety of wavelengths, only a small portion of that is what we consider to be visable light. Your senses have their limitations and that limits our potential to obtain knowledge.

Considering we are incapable or really knowing a subject in its entirety, we are incapable of making an evaluation with any real justification.

  7. In the physical world, the perfect human is impossible.

In the spiritual world nothing is imperfect.

  8. no

  9. I would have to say that perfection does not exist in this world. Just watching the news will tell you that. I have never met a perfect person and I never expect to. Perfection was something that we where designed to be at the beginning of time, but our fall from grace changed that. The only perfect beings lies with in a world we know little about, it is called heaven. Perfection walked the earth for 33 years, but was crucified by sinful men to save us from our sins and transgressions. I believe the only perfect being is God. Thumbs down me if you like, but that is my opinion.

  10. I don't think that you can perfection in each area of your life. However, as a whole, your life can be perfect with all of its little imperfections because that's what makes everything good. If everything was "perfect", life would be boring, which in turn would make everything imperfect again.

You reach perfection when you are happy with your life, when you're content with what you have, little s***w-ups and all. That's true perfection: imperfection.

  11. This is simply a cut-and-pasted answer I made to a similar question like this:

Perfection, in my opinion, is not a singular stationary state of being, but rather a process of constant vigilance and work to maintain oneself and one's environment so that all past errors are nothing more than a path of discovery which allows you to learn how to be more in tune with the nature of the universe itself. The idea of repentance or apologies are then unnecessary because you are constantly on the look-out for all the ways in which you can improve yourself and learn from any past transgressions, which is much better than asking for forgiveness and then repeating the error again without learning anything.

  12. This is a great example of a question where definitions make all the difference.  If you make a careful, meaningful definition of "Perfection" and "Existence", the answer to your question would become obvious.  But until then, discussion of your question verges on the meaningless.

Most people have different definitions of these terms, and dictionaries are of no help with terms like this.  Dictionaries just provide an overview of "common usage", and with loaded words such as these, the common usage is not philosophically sophisticated enough to deal with specific questions such as this one.

For example: there have been those who have used this exact question to "prove" that God exists.  They say "Well, God is perfect, and of course 'existence' is more perfect than 'non-existence' so therefore God MUST exist".  These people would claim that not only does perfection exist, but that it HAS to!

Others would say that NOTHING which exists is perfect, because "perfection" can't be physically instantiated.  For example, mathematical concepts like the "perfect circle", people will tell you that things of this nature do not "exist" in time and space, because no physical example could ever accurately embody the theoretical qualities of the geometrical object whose essence is defined as the totality of equidistant points from a center, whose circumference is pi x r2 etc....

You can have opinions on all sides and everyone or no one can be right...because your terms are vague.  So rather than concentrate on whether or not perfection exists, I think it would be good for you to think about/ask about what perfection and existence really are!

  13. sometimes when ur inlove, the person you're inlove with seems PERFECT!! and then realism Slaps you right in the face.lol

  14. ...only in your mind and eyes...enjoy it...

  15. Yes when ever I see a woman walking down the street

  16. Whose to say that order and repetition are perfect? Why should the standardized be considered beautiful?

I find things that are messy and random to be more stimulating. I find more beauty in a cup of swirling ink and water than I do when it settles.

Perfection exists, but not in the way that people think it does. I think perfection is something that pleases everyone and yet pleases no one. I think that sometimes something can be perfect and then it will never be again. Perfection out of imperfection, is most perfect.
