Does petco......???????????

does petco sell females and males to an owner???? like my sis wants to get a boy and i want to get a girl. theyre going to be in seperate cages and stuff like that..... so do they???

Well, when I was looking around to get my hamster, most of the pet stores really did have some unhealthy looking hamstes mostly petland. But

I got my hamster from petsmart finally because thier hamsters werent all mixed together, females with females and the hamsters just looked a lot happier and more calm. I don't remember seeing any male hamsters at petsmart where I went. Petsmart is a good store. Look around there!

Also, at petsmart I found that I got the most help with whatever question I asked. i didnt feel like I was kjust being told any old answers. Felt really good about buying from them!

Yeah don't buy ANYTHING from Petco, especially living animals. They don't take care of them and they will die young. They don't care about anything other than making money, the employees 90% of the time have no idea what they're talking about. You may think that buying some poor little animals at Petco is good because you're "rescuing" them, you are rescuing THEM, but by buying one animal they're going to import two more and treat them horribly. BOYCOTT PETCO.

Maybe, the one near me now only sales males, and one about half an hour from me only sales females...so I guess it depends

of course.  petco is an irresponsible pet shop.  it's out to make money so it will sell anyone anything.

i guess there's an idiot working at petco giving out thumbs down.

The only question you'll probably be asked, is if you have all the supplies needed for their care. Their way of trying to sell you more than what you were intending to buy.

Most places they only sell males, and at the petsmart near me they dont have Teddy Bear or Syrian hamsters.......they may have syrian black bear though.... just google petstores around you and then you can call them and ask the price for their hamsters.

i like petco,  dont listen to others,...

its fun to look at all the fish and animals

at mine, they only sell male syrians, but at petSMART they sell females...

anyway, i recomend petsmart for your shopping needs, to buy aniamls from petco is fine if u need a male or specific animal, but for supplies, i would deff. try petsmart, its way cheaper, i got my cage there for 25 when at petco it was 45, for the same cage! no joke
