Does pine sol kill mold?

Yes, PineSol (original pine scent), Tilex, Chlorox and Lysol are the products that I'm familiar with that will kill mold on non-porous surfaces.  Follow the directions on the container. It's my understanding that PineSol will prohibit regrowth better than bleach and is less likely to discolor your surfaces.  It is recommended that you scrub away the visible mold before disinfecting and disinfect an area several feet larger than the visible mold.  These products may not work on porous surfaces because mold will permiate.
