Does pinkeye subside during the day & get worst at night and morning?

I have drops that i just started using this morning for pink eye from my doctor. It clears up during the day and then at night and the morning get really swollen pink and crusty

Yes it does get worse at night because the solution that you are putting in your eyes clean your eye and help fight the bacteria. At night when you sleep your eye is cleansing itself and thats why it gets swollen and crusty. If you follow your doctors orders then your pink eye should be gone in about a day and a half.
